Authorisation limits
Discover why it is important to authorise transactions over a set limit.
An authorisation limit is the maximum amount for payments or transfers (such as Faster Payment System transactions, bill payments and online purchases) that do not require your authorisation.
Authorisation applies to each transaction and differs by transaction type.

Offers an extra layer of protection
Authorisation limits give you an extra layer of protection for high-risk transactions made with your account, as these will require the additional authentication via a fully activated OCBC Soft Token.

Lets you verify transactions in real time
Authorisation limits allow you to verify the value of your high-risk transactions in real time, ensuring that the correct amount is debited from your account.

Fixed limits for greater security
Authorisation limits are fixed and, for your safety, cannot be changed. This added protection is designed to reduce financial losses due to scams and unauthorised access to your accounts.

You can authorize your transactions easily using the OCBC Bank Mobile App:
- Log in Mobile Banking
- Select “Card Services”
- Select “Manage card limit”
- Choose the required services
Reminder: To borrow or not to borrow? Borrow only if you can repay!
