In-app notification/One-Time Password (OTP)

To safeguard our customers, we will send a notification for biometric authentication or a one-time password (OTP) via SMS when you use your Credit or Business Debit Card for transactions.
(For transactions conducted on websites of merchants participating in the 3D Secure system, authentication will be required.)

Activate/Temporarily Lock or Unlock Credit or Business Debit Card

To protect your account security and prevent unauthorised transactions, your new or replacement card must be activated prior to use.

Credit/Business Debit Card chargeback protection

If you make a one-time prepayment using a Credit/Business Debit Card, you can apply for a refund if there is a dispute regarding the transaction later.

Transaction alerts

To safeguard your account security, whenever a transaction is made with your OCBC Credit or Business Debit Card, we will send a notification via SMS or app push notification to your registered mobile number.

eStatements/eAdvice

Access your bank statements for the past 7 years securely via OCBC Online Banking and receive email notifications when your new statement is ready.

SMS Sender Registration Scheme

To help the public verify the identity of SMS senders and combat scam messages, the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) has launched the “SMS Sender Registration Scheme”. OCBC has joined the Scheme and we will use the following “Registered SMS Sender IDs” with the prefix “#” to send one-way SMS to local mobile users:

Credit/Business Debit Card lost

If your Credit or Business Debit Card is lost, please report it immediately via the OCBC Bank Mobile App or by calling our 24-hour Customer Service Hotline at (+852 3199 9000). We will promptly block your existing Credit/Business Debit Card to protect your account security.

Authorisation limits

Set authorisation limits to secure high-value transactions. Verify in real-time and protect against fraud with OTP or hardware token authentication.
